Mitchell, South Dakota

 Today, September 7th We drove to Mitchell, South Dakota!  It is home to the Corn Palace Theatre


.  We had absolutely no idea what this was but evidently back in the 1880's someone decided to decorate the outside of this premiere theatre in corn husks, corn cobs, and anything from the corn stalk!  EVERY year it is redesigned with over $10,000 in corn! zoom in on the pictures to see the detail ! quite amazing!  This threatre is known for it's famous performers like Lawrence Welk, Phillip Sousa, and many more!
