Well today is our first meeting with the Switch it up crew! All new participants will go to a meeting to learn about the weekend and then everyone (150 people) will join for dinner and community.
The first thing we learned is that this is NOT an education rally for Rv'ers. It's called a huddle where people gather in Christian faith to experience bucket list areas and participate in community outreach!
The leaders of this organization are a couple who had big losses in their lives and decided that life is short so lets buy an RV and travel the U.S. for a year! Sound familiar? They decided to video themselves and ended up having such a following that at the end of the year they decided to invite their followers to a "HUDDLE". I won't tell you more but this group has evolved into a community of believers that are connected through technology and these events and give people with a somewhat isolated lifestyle another opportunity for community including charity events, bible studies and more! Needless to say, God always has a plan and all the people here are floored that we signed up for something when we had absolutely no idea who Sheila and Todd were or what this rally was about! What a blessing!!!! More to come!!!!!
